¡Hola! So, I forgot how tricky it is to learn a whole new area... but I am getting there! Ezeiza B Is a great area and full of a lot of nice people. Elder Schulske and I are working hard, and I am working him even harder because I'm going to be killing him since it is his last transfer here then he will be going back home to Pleasant Grove.
Argentina has dogs everywhere. They are often in packs with a leader and are not cute little friendly dogs. It is known that missionaries in Argentina will get bit by dogs sooner than later. So....Elder Hadley is very blessed to still have his Left Ring Finger. On accident Elder Hadley’s left hand fell through a fence and a Female Pitbull Mix bit my hand... I still have my hand. The owner said it got its vaccines, so I'm not worried about rabies Jaja.
The owner also said that 4 weeks ago the Female Pitbull killed a Male Rottweiler and snapped its neck. But for good news we got ourselves a new investigator, the owner of the Pitbull! I will make sure to stay away from the puppy! Jaja So if you want, I got pics of my fingers below. π
We have been working with a lot of people here and I'm learning every moment. We are working with the guy that runs the Kiosko that is across the street from our pention. He is also attending the Jehovah Witness Church too... so he will come to The Church of Jesus Christ and we are going to the Jehovah Witness on Wednesday! He knows for about 85% that we are the true church, but he knows to study it out and to make sure this is what he wants to do.
We also have about 3 Ricarlos that we are teaching and one of them is working super hard to quit smoking. We pray for him and all our other investigators so they can receive the help they need to move forward to the saving ordinances and make covenants with our Father in Heaven.
My spiritual thought is something Elder Schulske and I talked through Saturday morning for companionship study. Lehi's family all went into the wilderness and did the same things but how come Sam and Nephi were righteous and Lamen and Lemuel weren't? Attitude and Intent is everything in the Lord’s eyes. He sees our trials and tries to bless us. I challenge you to re-evaluate your attitudes and intents and see if they align with the Lords. Being a missionary can sometimes be hard but when you have the right mindset and attitude it can change how your story ends. Hope you all have a wonderful week and know I pray for you all!
