¡Hola! How we all doing this beautiful day? Good I hope! Here in Argentina all is well, a liter of milk costs 50 pesos, it is a good day when it cost less than 65 pesos. Jaja Ezeiza is great but I think this is my last transfer here. I had a good run here and we will see where President wants me next week.
Elder Harper did end up being transferred the next day last week. He is a great missionary and I will miss him! I am currently in a trio with Elder Cruz (Honduras) and Elder Mendoza (Chile) for now.
This last week we did not have any baptisms, but we will see how the mission work goes this next week.
I decided to cook my own Asado (BBQ) this last week before interviews with the Elders of Las Flores. The Elders from Las Flores live south out in the country of our mission boundaries, so they come up to stay with us before interviews with the President. I only cooked up some chorizos (sausages) because we need to eat all week, not just one meal a week (It is expensive) Jaja So Choripan y chimichurri baby! (Sausage Sandwiches)
Now a Quick thought I recently have had this past week. The power that the scriptures have is absolutely amazing. In Gospel Doctrine yesterday we talked about how the Iron Rod is The Gospel in our lives, the Word of God, the scriptures.
In Jacob 4:11-12 it talks about how we can gain a perfect knowledge of our Savior and his atonement through the scriptures. I think that is amazing that I can learn more and more about Him and His experience through the scriptures.
The mission I can see every day is helping me become more and more like Him in ways I never expected. I want to invite you all to pray before your scripture study and ask how and what you study can help you day to day to become more like our Savior.
I love you all and appreciate all the support I am receiving from home. Trials are hard but with the Savior it is only temporary Trials.
Les amo,
Elder Hadley
