My Full Year in the Mission

¡Hola! Happy New Year’s peeps and Welcome to 2020! I've now started my full year in the mission and boy I am excited to get working hard. The Buenos Aires South Mission Baptized over 1150 people in 2019. We are the most progressed mission in the world. We not only doubled but tripled our baptisms this last year!

Our Goal this next year we are guessing will be around 1500 Baptisms in 2020, Which requires a lot from every missionary. I'm Ready! Jaja

This last week we worked hard finding a lot of "Nuevos" New friends to teach and share the Gospel with. Elder Cruz and I are working farther into our area and we are finding a lot more success there. The hard part is and will always be getting them to church. You have to get on a bus then walk to the church house. Little Tricky but with the Lord’s help in work it is very possible!

This next week we are going to try new things and we are always trying new ways to find more people!

The missionaries here are now not allowed to drink Manaos, Juice, or Water from people. Those are the only beverages except beer and wine that are in this country. We are figuring things out because all of those contain “Agua" Water that is bad and makes your tummy feel a little mad. Jaja Don't drink the water!!!  I'm ok just watching everything that goes into my mouth.

Now to end on a good and spiritually healthy note, I'd like to share a Scripture with you all I read in my personal Study this last week.

In Alma 37:37 it talks about prayer and the importance to keep the Lord involved. I'm trying to see where I can apply this in my life this next year. Keeping the Lord in the work is the most important thing we could be doing; a particle of dust doesn't even move without him. I challenge you all to think about how you will involve the Lord in your life in 2020!

Love you all and hope you guys are getting ready for our April Conference! #Restoration
