Our Investigators have Gone to the Dogs

¡Hola! Every day I learn something new and different. Elder Aldave and I have been working hard (walking more than I ever have in my life) and seeing more of the light of Christ in the people we teach.

Just yesterday at church we had another attendance. It was our friend Federico and this time both his little sisters came too. Their dog followed us as we walked to church but was left outside. During church someone opened the door and the dog came in. I was passing the Sacrament and noticed something white run past me and yes.... the dog ran around the Chapel during the Sacrament. Federico knows next time to leave the dog in the house and not let it follow us when walking to church. Jaja

One day I was walking through El Ceibo (The Villa) with Elder Aldave and a little three-year-old boy looked up at me, pointed saying, "El es muy fea!" Which means he is ugly. I think the boy is mistaken and thinks I'm some Yankee when I am really a Latino. Jaja

Last night I had a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget... I had my first "ASADO!" I thought I would go my first transfer without an Asado (Argentine BBQ) but it was a Tender Mercy from the heavens, and our neighbors that live above us!

It was a small one (hard to believe it) because I'm in the city, but it was delicious. I've also been able to eat a lot of other stuff too! (Not too hard to believe)

Something spiritual that has been on my mind this last week was on the Law of Tithing. As we explain how much tithing is, what it goes towards, and what we get in return; it has made me think of all the blessings in my life that I have received for constantly making that small sacrifice. I want you all to know I have a strong testimony of the Law of Tithing, and I know that if we continue to make that sacrifice it will bring happiness to you and your family. Love you all and have a wonderful week!

Mom Note: These next pictures were taken from the Mission Facebook Page.
This week they had interviews with the President in his home.

Parker already loves his Mission Mom and I can see she has found her way to his heart!
