Two Months, Rain and Empanadas

¡Hola! Hope you all are doing well. This week has been a great week with getting to know the members and more new investigators. 

Yesterday we had our first attendance to church. Federico is a great kid and has come from a good family. His papá wasn´t feeling well when we first met him. We asked him if he would like a blessing. Federicos Dad has 3 different Italian last names. It was a little tricky for me, but I gave my first blessing in Castillano this week. 

Elder Aldave and I also had the opportunity to attend the "Nuevo Pacto" Church. It was interesting and different but at the end we had the opportunity to teach and testify of the Plan of Salvation. We referenced the Bible a lot to back up our testimonies. First time we´ve taught a lesson in a different Church and to a different Religion! Jaja 

   

So, it was my first Zone Conference this week and I was able to meet up with some old buddies from the CCM. We had a bunch of Pizza and Empanadas for Almuerzo! Learning a lot of how to be a Consecrated Missionary and I know the Lord is helping me. 

   

On a Spiritual note I´d like to share and testify of the Power of Obedience. I´ve been trying to be more obedient with what I do here on the mission and have seen how it is helping us with the work and taking it day by day. The 10 Commandments and other things the Lord has asked us to do can sometimes feel like rules or things we have to do. It is hard but I am here to tell you that they make us better people as we progress to become more like our Savior. Showing faith through action, I guarantee you will be blessed for it.
